POL TURGEON

Pol Turgeon lives many parallel lives. To begin with he has been an illustrator since the early 1980’s resulting in a vast array of publications where his work has appeared and garnered over 200 awards. In the late 1990’s Pol began to devote part of his time to personal visual work resulting in an astonishing series of art that has been exhibited to an enthusiastic response throughout the United States and Canada. Beginning in 2007, Turgeon began collaborating as a visual designer in dance/theatre with the collective Red Rabbit. Throughout these various concentrations, over the past 20 years, Pol has also taught at UQAM (University of Quebec at Montreal) interspersed with various workshops and lectures given throughout North America. The many lives of Pol Turgeon are far from being exhausted; what has been only presages further possibilities for ever more exulting experiences.
