Timothy William Burton was born on August 25th, 1958 in Burbank, California. As a boy, he loved and was inspired by TV and movies starring Vincent price. Burton graduated from the California Arts Institute in 1980 having majored in Animation. He then began working at Walt Disney Studios. Burton is known for being a reclusive creative genius, whose unique visions have impacted a generation of people through his films. He is an illustrator, poet, painter, costume designer, and sculptor. The retrospective exhibition at the New York MoMA was one of the most popular exhibitions in its history.
